If the Hirer is in any doubt as to the meaning of the following, a representative from Letts Bounce should immediaely be consulted:-
1.0 THE HIRER will, during the period of the hiring, be responsible for the supervision of the equipment, its care, safety from damage however slight of any sort and the behaviour of all persons of all ages using the equipment whatever their capacity, including proper supervision of children to ensure children under school age use the equipment seperately to older children or adults. The Hirer acknowledges that he has read and understands any relevant operating equipment.
2.0 THE HIRER shall not use the equipment for any purpose other than that described in the hiring agreement, and shall not sub hire or use the equipment or allow the equipment to be used for any unlawful purpose or in any unlawful way, nor allow anyone onto the equipment wearing shoes, spectacles, carrying sharp objects, key-rings, metal studded clothing or any other similar items which could cause damage to others or the equipment.
3.0 No food or drink is to be consumed on the equipment at any time and no smoking.
4.0 The equipment should not be used in the event of high winds or wet conditions the bouncy castle should e switched off at the socket until the rain has passed. Once inflated again the castle bed and front step should be towel dried thoroughly before further use. Also ensure that the extension reel is kept dry at all times.
5.0 THE HIRER shall be deemed to have inspected the equipment (accessories and trailer if supplied) and to have agreed that it is supplied in good condition unless he/she brings to the attention of Letts Bounce when it is set up and checked by the hirer when coming into posession of the equipment any faults noted by the Hirer.
6.0 THE HIRER is responsible for ensuring that adequate safety barriers and notices are fitted around equipment if required. All equipment must be used in accordance with the HSE Guidance Note PM76/Entertainment Sheet No 7. All operating instructions issued by Letts Bounce should be followed to provide a suitable safe environment.
7.0 THE HIRER will provide the following site conditions. A level site for all equipment supplied, a minimum access width of 36 inches, ensure that the site is free from all debris, sharp objects, animal waste and within 50 meters of the delivery vehicle. If the site is outside of this distance, the hirer will provide an adult person to assist in the setting up and packing away of all equipment.
8.0 THE HIRE PERIOD unless otherwise agreed is from delivery until the agreed pick up time or after at the discretion of Letts Bounce any obstruction by the hirer or their guests causing unncessary delay wil be charged at £35.00 per hour or part of, this also applied where ball pit balls are not bagged and ready for collection.
9.0 IN THE EVENT of an accident occurring, full written details must be recorded including name and address of injured party, circumstances of accident, date and place of incident and a copy of the report to be sent to Letts Bounce.
10.0 Do not allow people to bounce on the front step, do not allow people to climb, sit or hang off the walls, and do not allow animals on or near the equipment. No somersaults or other manoeuvres that may risk causing damage to the persons head/neck/back of any other party of any persons body are allowed on the inflatable.
11.0 Party poppers, hair dye, face paints, silly string, spray foam, washing up liquid and any other liquids must not be used on the inflatable if they cause damaged to the castle the damaged may be charged to the hirer.
12.0 THE HIRER will be responsible to pay for any damage or vandalism caused to the inflatable or accessories whilst in their possession incluidng carriage to and from the repairers by misue of the equipment, normal wear and tear excluded.
13.0 The inflatable is not to be used by person over the age of 14 unless adult hire has been agreed, any child taller than the inside wall is not permitted to use it, under no circumstances should adults enter onto the castle as thi may result in damage to the castle.
14.0 Letts Bounce has full Public Liability Insurance however, Letts Bounce canno take responsibility or liability once the inflatable has been left in the supervision of the hirer. Letts Bounce must also warn the hirer that if any accident occurs from the hirers neglect to supervision then the hirer will be responsibl and not Letts Bounce .
